Shirogane Blue Pond (Biei, Hokkaido)

Hokkaido is known for its beautiful nature and fresh air featured with a number of sightseeing spots across the island. One of the spots you should not miss is the Shirogane Blue Pond in Biei.

The Blue Pond is approximately an hour ride by car to the southeast of Asahikawa city. The pond has a magical-look sight with clear blue water and dead silver trees, which is the origin of Hokkaido.
