Muslim’s Evaluation of Japanese Hospitality

The Halal In Travel Global Summit 2021 will be held online from July 13th to 15th, 2021. On the second day, July 14th at 15:00 Japan time, the “GMTI: Global Muslim Travel Index 2021” will be announced.

GMTI is a ranking of Muslim-friendly destinations published annually by Mastercard (the US) and CrescentRating (Singapore) and is known to have a tremendous impact on the Muslim travel market.

This is the first time in two years since the announcement was postponed last year due to a global pandemic. It will be interesting to see where Japan, which has consistently raised its ranking, will rank.
