As mentioned in the news bulletin of HMJ several days ago, an event commemorating acquisition of halal certificate was carried out by inviting Muslim people living in Japan at “Awa Henro soba Bizan.” All 30 Muslim participants experienced soba-making for the first time, and everyone including children and adults enjoyed making the traditional Japanese dish from scratch. The lieutenant governor of Tokushima, Kumagaya that made efforts in acquiring the certificate attended the class as a guest, made a speech that the province will continue to promote halal-friendly environment, and received great applause from the participants.
