Meet Panda at Ueno Zoo

Ueno Zoo is the oldest and one of Japan’s largest zoos, which opened in March 1882. The zoo is home to a variety of animals, with Giant Panda being the most popular animal living in the zoo. Many Panda-related goods are on sale in the zoo as well as in shops around Ueno.

The panda is extremely popular and visitors have to queue to see panda. In some cases need to line up for 4 hours or so. Since it will be a long line, people who want to leave the line for a while (to go to the toilet, etc), are advised to tell the person in the front and back, so that they can go back to the line smoothly.
