At Nishimoro Marche 2026, the answer was clear: more Muslim visitors than ever before. Held on August 29 and 30, 2026, at Sangenjaya Fureai Hiroba in Setagaya, Tokyo, the event welcomed visitors with local products, foods, sweets and drinks from the Nishimoro region of Miyazaki Prefecture.
Among the booths, one in particular continued to attract attention from Muslim residents in Japan: Zenkai Meat company, known for handling Halal Miyazaki Herb Beef.
In its third consecutive year at the event, the company recorded its highest Muslim turnout to date, with many visitors coming specifically to enjoy halal Japanese beef and Wagyu in a casual festival setting.

Five Halal Japanese Beef Dishes in One Booth
Zenkai Meat offered five halal Japanese beef dishes at the 2026 event:
- Halal Japanese Beef Roast Beef
- Halal Japanese Beef Burger
- Halal Yakiniku Sandwich
- Halal Wagyu Round Skewer
- Halal Wagyu Tornado Skewer
The roast beef, burger and yakiniku sandwich returned as familiar favorites, while the Wagyu round skewer and Wagyu tornado skewer made their debut in 2026.

The menu was designed to be easy to enjoy while walking around the event, making it possible for visitors to try halal Japanese beef without sitting down for a full restaurant meal.
That casual format was part of the appeal. Visitors could explore a regional Japanese festival, browse products from Miyazaki and stop by for halal beef along the way.

The Biggest Muslim Turnout in Three Years
Zenkai Meat first joined Nishimoro Marche in 2024 and returned again in 2025 and 2026.
This third appearance brought the largest number of Muslim visitors the booth has seen so far.
Many were Muslims living in Japan, and the growing turnout suggests that repeated participation and continued information sharing are gradually making the company’s halal Japanese beef better known within the Muslim community.
It is also a reminder that halal options at a local event can do more than simply accommodate dietary needs.
They can give Muslim visitors a reason to discover an event, visit a neighborhood they may not otherwise have considered, and experience a regional side of Japan together with everyone else.
More Than Just “A Halal Option”
One of the most interesting aspects of Nishimoro Marche is that the halal beef is not presented as a separate event exclusively for Muslims.
The booth sits alongside local agricultural products, processed foods, sweets, drinks and tourism information from Kobayashi City, Ebino City and Takaharu Town, the three municipalities that make up the Nishimoro area of Miyazaki Prefecture.
That means Muslim visitors are not only coming for halal food. They are also entering a wider local Japanese experience.
For travelers and residents who want to explore Japan beyond major tourist spots, events like this can become a gateway to discovering regional food, producers and destinations that might otherwise remain unfamiliar.
What Is Halal Miyazaki Herb Beef?
Zenkai Meat handles Miyazaki Herb Beef, raised with feed containing herbs such as oregano, cinnamon, ginger and garlic, together with enhanced vitamin E.
The company operates a meat processing facility with ISO 22000 and halal certification, allowing it to provide halal-compatible domestic Japanese beef products.
At Nishimoro Marche, that beef was offered not as something “special only for Muslims,” but as Japanese beef that Muslim and non-Muslim visitors could enjoy at the same event.
That shared food experience is part of what has made the booth increasingly popular over the past three years.

Nishimoro Marche 2026 may be over, but the turnout this year gives Muslim visitors a good reason to keep an eye on the event in the future.
