Spring is the most awaited season when flowers wake up with the warm sunlight. Spring in Japan begins with the sakura bloom (which only lasts for 2 weeks!) then followed by other kinds of flowers which is perfect for your Instagram!

1. Showa Kinen Kouen (Tokyo)

This is one of Tokyo’s largest parks that allows you to enjoy various kinds of flowers, especially the tulips! Put your camera on to catch the colors for your Instagram!

2. Shiofune Kannon-Ji (Tokyo)

This is a large Shingon Buddhist temple complex known as a temple of flowers, as you can enjoy a variety of flowers each season. The temple is especially famous for its vast amount and variety of azalea (tsutsuji) bushes. The azalea blossoming from late April to early May.

After azalea, you can enjoy hydrangeas bloom during the rainy season, lilies in mid-July, and Japanese clover and amaryllis from September to October.

3. Yokohama English Garden (Kanagawa Prefecture)

This garden is famous for its kinds of roses! Especially in May, you can enjoy the roses bloom beautifully that brings a romantic atmosphere.

4. Hitachi Kaihin Kouen (Ibaraki Prefecture)

This is a large national park located in Ibaraki Prefecture that famous for its blue carpet of Nemophila! Enjoy the contrast of Nemophila to the blue sky!

If you can enjoy Nemophila in spring, next you can enjoy Kochia that turns red in autumn!

5. Ashikaga Flower Park (Tochigi Prefecture)

A must-visit flower garden in Ashikaga city, Tochigi Prefecture to see the wisteria rain! You can find some varieties of wisteria blooms in purple, white, and yellow!

6. Fuji Shibazakura Matsuri (Yamanashi Prefecture)

The matsuri (festival) allows visitors to enjoy the stunning view of Mount Fuji collaborating harmonically with the vivid pink carpet of shibazakura! Such a perfect site to take a lot of photos!

10. Andersen Park (Chiba)

This park is named after worldwide known fairytale author, Hans Christian Andersen or people known as H. C Andersen. There are so many activities you can enjoy with family such as interact with animals, outbound activities, visiting museums, and many more while enjoying the view of Denmark. Furthermore, the flowers bloom beautifully here as the season changes, such as Iceland poppy, anemone, marguerite, geranium, etc.
