Halal Japanese Curry at Narita Airport
In recent years, there has been a growing demand for halal food options in Japan, particularly in international airports, to cater to foreign tourists from Muslim countries. One such establishment is “La Toque,” a halal restaurant located on the 4th floor of Terminal 2 at Narita Airport.
La Toque has been serving halal foods since 2014 but temporarily closed due to the pandemic. However, the restaurant is now open again and is proud to continue offering its delicious Japanese cuisine, especially its main menu item, Japanese curry, which has a taste that can satisfy the palates of foreign visitors.
One of the reasons “La Toque” is popular among Muslim customers is because of its halal-certified kitchen, which ensures that all meals are prepared and served to meet the requirements of halal dietary restrictions.
Today we had chicken katsu (cutlet) curry, with a crunchy cutlet that meets great with the flavorful curry roux and white rice.

The restaurant’s grilled chicken curry (あぶり鶏カレー), a dish featuring grilled chicken and Japanese curry, is the most popular meal among Muslim customers. The meal options are available in a price range of 1,200 yen to 1,700 yen.
The bright and casual atmosphere of the restaurant also makes it an ideal place to enjoy your meal after or before your flight.
