The New Shopping Complex in Haneda Airport Has a Prayer Room!

Haneda Airport, one of the busiest airports in Japan, has recently opened a new complex called the Haneda Airport Garden, located adjacent to the Haneda Airport International Terminal (Terminal 3). The complex can be easily accessed via a bridge from the International Terminal 2F.

One of the standout features of the Haneda Airport Garden is its spacious and well-maintained prayer room located on the 2nd floor. The prayer room is divided between men and women and includes a large wudu’ space (with hot water!) and prayer mats.

While the prayer room offers a convenient space for Muslims to pray, women are advised to bring their own prayer clothes as they are not provided by the facility. To use the prayer room, you are required to call the staff from the interphone located beside the door.

The prayer room is available for use between 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. However, it is unfortunate to note that there are currently no halal food options available in the complex. We hope there will be halal food options in the facility in the near future.
