Ayam-Ya Karasuma
Ayam-Ya is one of Japan’s popular halal-certified ramen shops, spreading its shops to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Ayam-Ya Karasuma offers a takeaway and delivery menu from the mobile apps MENU and Uber Eats for those who are nearby, and frozen ramen through their online shop (available in Japanese, English, and Bahasa Indonesia) which can be shipped everywhere within Japan.
They had a renovation this November and re-open on December 12, 2022, for lunch only.

Hyssop
The restaurant located in the busy Shijo-Karawamachi in Kyoto initially offers vegan meals and now also offers Muslim-friendly meals for lunch and dinner since Dec 15, 2022. Lunch comes in 5 dishes with tomato chicken stew (using halal-certified chicken) as the main dish and dinner come in 6 dishes with wagyu beef steak with grilled vegetables (using halal-certified wagyu beef) as the main dish.
Lunch basically needs reservation in advance (until 17:00 on the previous day) but there are cases when lunch is available without reservation, please make a call to check the availability. Walk-in is available for dinner.
