Vegan Course By The Famous Kaiseki Restaurant in Kyoto
Founded in 1928 and having a track record of nearly 100 years, Honke Tankuma Honten in Kyoto is a long-established restaurant that represents Kyoto and was also awarded one star in Michelin Guide Kyoto / Osaka + Wakayama 2022. It is a well-known store. We serve monmo dishes, which in Kyoto dialect means “as it is”, that is, to make the best use of the characteristics of the ingredients.
In addition, the young master of the restaurant, Junichi Kurisu, has traveled to more than 70 countries around the world as a backpacker, which allows him to have a wide point of view in terms of accepting a variety of cultures. Since then, he has had a desire to provide genuine Kyoto cuisine with consideration of diverse cultures, principles, and religions to customers from overseas.
* The composition of the course menu may vary depending on the season and the availability of ingredients.
* The management is different from the Tankuma Kita shop so please be careful.
