We, HALAL MEDIA JAPAN, have significantly renewed our TAITO MAP FOR MUSLIMS, so that it becomes more useful. The name of the renewal version is also changed to “TOKYO MAP FOR MUSLIMS”. This map was produced by Taito City, Okachimachi Mosque, and HALAL MEDIA JAPAN to warmly welcome Muslim tourists who are traveling Japan.

- The size of the new map is A3, big enough to look for and find the destination!
- Enough information about various kinds of shops, including 14 restaurants and 6 souvenir shops!

Asakusa Sushiken
Sushi is a representative of Japanese Cuisine. Asakusa Sushiken has Halal certification for meals issued by Okachimachi Mosque. Sushiken only uses alcohol-free vinegar and shoyu, though sushi in ordinary restaurants usually contains slight alcohol. This is one of the Halal yakiniku restaurants that are rare in Japan. Because they buy a whole beef cattle and slaughter it in Halal way, all of their menus are served as Halal. Masudaen is an old Japanese tea shop established 150 years ago. In this shop, you can eat ice creams that have acquired Halal certification from Okachimachi Mosque. Besides ice cream, this shop sells many kinds of Japanese tea suitable for a souvenir.
