Discover the Culinary Delights of Fukuoka

On July 13, 2023, The Fukuoka City Economic, Tourist, and Cultural Affairs Bureau’s Cruise Division announced the release of the “Fukuoka Vegan, Vegetarian, and Halal-friendly MAP” in conjunction with the hosting of the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in the city.

Fukuoka, renowned as a food mecca, aims to delight foreign tourists with diverse culinary cultures. To achieve this, the map includes a selection of 35 restaurants in Fukuoka, ranging from Japanese and Asian cuisines to cafes, all offering vegan, vegetarian, and Halal options.

The map comes in both Japanese and English versions and will be distributed during the championship period at temporary tourist information centers, such as the one located in front of Hakata Station and the AD Center, as well as the Marine Messe. Post-event distribution is also planned at Fukuoka Airport and the featured restaurants.
