Exciting Plant-Based Choices at Starbucks

Starbucks Coffee Japan has expanded its menu offerings by introducing “plant-based” food options to be enjoyed alongside its beverages, such as coffee and tea.

Starting from June 1, 2022 (Wednesday), these plant-based food items have been made available nationwide at Starbucks stores across Japan, with the exception of a few locations

*However, it’s important to note that these products are not specifically designed for individuals pursuing a strict vegan or vegetarian diet, as indicated by the company).

Starbucks announced the launch of two new additions to the menu: Tiramisu and Banana Rice Flour Muffin, which have been available since May 31, 2023.

This Tiramisu dessert features a coffee-infused sponge cake baked to perfection. It is layered with coffee syrup and a combination of almond milk whip and soy milk-based ingredients, resulting in a soft and smooth texture. The delightful aroma of almond milk whip and soy milk enhances the flavors of cocoa powder and coffee, adding an enticing touch of bitterness.
