Eid-ul-Fitr is Monday 2nd May 2022 in Japan
Ruyatl-e-Hilal Committee-Japan has announced as followed regarding Eid-ul-Fitr of 2022.
Ruyatl-e-Hilal Committee-Japan announced that 1st Shawwal (Eid-ul-Fitr), 1443 A.H. falls on Monday 2nd May 2022 in Japan although the Hilal (Crescent) was not sighted in Japan, the sighting of Hilal (Crescent) was confirmed by the Islamic Authorities in Malaysia on 29th Ramadhan, 1443 A. H. (1st May 2022).
Ruyatl-e-Hilal Committee-Japan would like to extend best wishes to you and to the Ummah Islamiyah for Eid-ul-Fitr. May Allah SWT have mercy on the Ummah Islamiyah, and guide all Muslims to follow the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW and do good deeds.
Regarding Eid prayer, mosques in Japan are preparing to welcome Jama’ah tomorrow. There are mosques that divide the prayer time into twice or three times, even four times. In addition to some that need registration in advance to join the Eid prayer. Please check your nearest mosque’s website and social media carefully so you will not miss anything.
