Sapporo Drug store (http://www.sapporo-drug.co.jp.e.uc.hp.transer.com/), a major drug store chain in Sapporo City of Hokkaido, has a Muslim-friendly souvenir sales counter in their new store planned to open in Tanuki-koji shopping arcade. The company decided to start the service in order to meet the demands of Muslim travelers to Sapporo in general as well as in expectation of Asian Winter Games taking place in Sapporo next year.
Cosmetics are available in addition to products and souvenirs that can be enjoyed by Muslim people!
There is a lineup of popular products, including black paint and MAMA butter.
The second floor belongs to a different company, but there is a prayer space free to use by anyone.
