Halal Yakiniku “PANGA” Review in Okachimachi

The restaurant is at 4th floor of Marugoto Nippon building, 8 minutes walk from Asakusa station and 9 minutes walk from Tawaramachi Station (both station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line)

The interior of this restaurant is a bit different with the one in Okachimachi, as all of the seats is designed to counter-seat with a teppan (iron plate) in front of each seat.

This time we would like to introduce the tasty wagyu course of Wagyu Dining PANGA585 which is available from 7thof June!

The course menu consists of salad, meat sushi, sirloin and outside skirt steak, A5 rank wagyu steak, ishiyaki roast beef fried rice, and yoghurt with date syrup as dessert.

Menu course

Salad

The course starts with the green salad.

Most of us are familiar with the milled sheets of nori that are enfolded around mostly sushi, but for this appetizer, seaweed as the salad topping generate a Japanese style of salad.

Undoubtedly, seaweed can never go wrong with anything as the taste of the salad blends well with the pleasant savory flavor of seaweed. The salad is served fresh, has a great taste sensation, and not to forget it is good for our health too!

Beef Sushi

Have you had a beef sushi before?

If not, this is your chance to have a bite of it. The tenderness of the beef makes an absolute touch of its taste.

We took one bite of the slightly scorched beef sushi and was instantaneously in love. The soft texture of the beef and rich fatty senses filled in the mouth, making this a definite must-try.

Sirloin

Then after the beef sushi, we had a sirloin steak.

It’s important to note that “sirloin” signifies to a large cut of steak that gets cut into several other types of steak. Sirloin comes from the back of a beef, behind its ribs but ahead of the rump area.

The sirloin steak served in medium rare and as it is the top sirloin meat, it is delicate and don’t have a need to chew.  A good balance of texture and flavor.

A5 Rank Wagyu Steak

Here is the main dish of the course, A5 rank wagyu!

For the dish, they are using Satsuma Beef A5 rank originated from Kagoshima Prefecture.

For your reference, A5 is the finest rank of wagyu beef, has a very high intramuscular fat, so it gives a satisfactory.

That fine wagyu is cut into 8 slices so that you can enjoy the flavor of each slice gradually.

The taste of the wagyu meat tastes totally superb, a daring proof of the highest quality of the meat.

The steak served together with melted butter sauce as the primary sauce, as well as ponzu sauce with grated radish, lemon salt sauce and miso sauce or you can just dip it with the basic dressing, salt or wasabi.

The sensational essence of the beef goes perfectly well with the butter sauce which dominate the whole taste in this course menu.

 Ishiyaki Roast Beef (Fried Rice)

The Ishiyaki Roast Beef Fried Rice is served in a hot stone-bowl. It adds a dramatic feel by using the ishiyaki grilling stones to cook directly at the table, which consists of wagyu, egg, and rice, then turned into a fried rice within 2 minutes. Definitely this stunning presentation guarantee a fun and memorable dining to the customers.

The fried rice has a Japanese taste with wagyu in it, we bet it will give you a totally new experience, worth to try!

Dessert (Yoghurt with Date Syrup)

The last meal of the course is the yoghurt with date syrup. Date syrup is a perfect natural sweetener. The syrup appears in dark brown and in thick liquid. When paired with a yogurt, it gives a savory, perfect amount of sweetness, and you can find it at Wagyu Dining PANGA585 Asakusa!
