I doubt if it would be wrong to assert that Asakusa is developing as the travel haven for the Muslim travellers in Japan. A look at the Asakusa Muslim Map kept in the Information Booth at Asakusa, is a testimony of the same development.
With several Japanese restaurants preparing Halal Friendly Menus’, the Asakusa Sushiken is a new sushi restaurant to join the club. Located right opposite the Khaosan Hotel in Asakusa, this rather new Sushi restaurant has become immensely popular after the Halal Menus.
The menu is diverse and the flavors are brilliant. My all-time favorite Sushi is the Sanma Fish Sushi, which can be eaten only during September and start of October. The fish is fresh, and the Halal-made seasonings add more to the taste.
The Asakusa Sushiken, is a must visit place in Asakusa for Sushi. This is where one can really feel that hospitality of Japan mixed with its efforts of opening its hearts for the Muslim Travellers.
So, what are you waiting? Download the Halal Gourmet Japan Application and find your way to the Asakusa Sushiken !
