Sushiken in Asakusa, that offers Muslim-friendly sushi, has made a prayer space under the guidance of Okachimachi Mosque. Sushiken is serving dishes prepared using HALAL vinegar and HALAL soy sauce for Muslim customers increasing in recent years. While they attract many customers, there were many requests for a prayer space, and so they decided to take an approach of creating one. They are planning on expanding their Muslim-friendly services in the future.
HMJ wishes that more HALAL restaurants and prayer spaces will increase in Japan.
