Evaluating Japan’s Appeal Amongst Muslim Travelers Worldwide

In a significant achievement for the country, Japan was honored with the prestigious title of ‘Sustainable Destination of the Year’ at the Halal In Travel Award 2023. The event, jointly organized by CrescentRating, a renowned authority on Halal travel based in Singapore, and Mastercard, took place on June 1, 2023, in Singapore.

During the ceremony, Mrs. Yamamoto, Deputy Director-General of the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), represented Japan and graciously accepted the award certificate presented by Mr. Fazal, CEO of CrescentRating.
