Halal Washoku Restaurant YOSHIYA in Shinjuku!
“YOSHIYA”, a restaurant that serves seasonal Saga cuisine for 60 years in Kyoto, Arashiyama, has newly acquired certification of HALAL and started offering Muslim-friendly services. That HALAL certification was issued by Kyoto Halal Council. However, not only Kyoto Store but also Shinjuku Store started offering Muslim-friendly services(Halal Washoku).
YOSHIYA is located in Shinjuku Metro Food Street which directly is connected from Shinjuku Station West Exit. It is very convenient. Moreover, the price is reasonable and we don’t need to make a reservation. So please feel free to come to YOSHIYA.
There are three menus that got the (halal certification. Spicy fried chicken is the most popular. When they made this menu, the features of Japanese food was considered. YOSHIYA uses only fresh ingredient and they bring out the best in the ingredient. A kitchen is glass-sided.
In addition, they separate halal ingredients from non-halal ingredient and there is no pork in the restaurant. Staff is learning how to service to Muslims. You can order food with a menu in English and the staff can speak English so don’t worry.
They sell vegetables made in Kyoto next to cashier. Enjoy Japanese food.
