Among them is Zunita Binti Ramli, a Muslim from Malaysia resides in Minami-Uonuma City who has long been sharing the beauty of Minami-Uonuma through her social media activities.

As an official Minami-Uonuma City Tourism Ambassador, Zunita directly conveyed her enthusiasm and goals to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Minami-Uonuma City that she will now further strengthen her efforts to introduce the city’s many attractions to fellow Muslim travelers and residents. Zunita has been living in Minami-Uonuma city since 2022 and is a graduate of the International University located in the city. Through her Instagram account, she regularly posts about the city’s stunning natural scenery and its most famous local products such as Minami Uonuma Koshihikari rice, widely regarded as one of Japan’s best. Her posts, filled with heartfelt appreciation for the region’s lifestyle and landscapes, have resonated with followers both in Japan and abroad.
